n00b.in is Under Construction.

What is n00b.in?

In one line, n00b.in is the next generation information and entertainment experience.

n00b.in is an experiment to promote pop culture. It is like a doctor's recommendation of your daily dose on bits of useless information, shreds of entertainment, sporadic sprinkles of obscurity, collection of curious minds, engagement in mental orgies and lots of interestingness. Its like good old days of BBS and usenet back again.

Wikipedia defines n00b as

"Newbie is a slang term for a newcomer to online gaming or an Internet activity. It can also be used for any other activity in whose context a somewhat clueless newcomer could exist. It can have derogatory connotations, but is also often used for descriptive purposes only, without a value judgment."

And here is the big idea (also know as the AHA moment in few parlance). We will literally take things like "newcomer to an Internet activity", "clueless", "without a valid judgment". We would use n00b.in as a delivery vehicle for things that are pop. And since there are no strict definitions for pop, it could be a computer game or a graffiti art or simply an iPhone or a new fashion label or a link or a speech made by Warren Buffet or an awesome video of street dancers at play or any of those millions of gems sprinkled around the world.

These are the things that stretch the human imagination limits. Things that are blurring the borders of sanity and saintly. Things that can give us a glimpse in to the future, today. Things that make us title them as pop. And we are nothing but n00bs when it comes to those things.

n00b.in is currently in pre-pre-pre-alpha stage and light years away from any launch and will obviously change significantly in due course of time. All you need to have is a curious mind and must believe in infinite possible in human potential and imagination.

We don't want people who share similar ideas. We invite diversity. We love debates, discussions, proses, hate-mails, angry exchanges. Anything that stimulates our thinking. Anything that puts our brain to work.
